Seaside treasures

Just returned from a week in (or is it on?) Florida's panhandle. Some people come back with seashells and t-shirts after a seaside vacation. I returned from this trip with loads of photos to begin new paintings. If the warm turquoise water and soft sugary sand weren't so completely perfect and just steps from the back door, I would have happily spent every day driving around taking pictures. Can't wait to start painting.

Take a peek at the rest of the photos on flickr.

New work in progress

I'm very excited about a new little painting I've started based on a photo taken by Victoria from sfgirlbybay blog. A refreshing change to my usual palette.
