Devil Town

After a very busy few months in the studio, I've recently sent off a bunch of new pieces to two galleries. I've got two new paintings in a group show, called "Devil Town" curated by Daniel Danger.

2012 Wall Calendars have arrived!

My 2012 wall calendar features 13 selected images of my paintings from the past year. It is professionally printed on heavyweight paper with a slight sheen, producing incredible color and detail in the reproductions while also providing a lovely surface to write on. The calendar measures 8.5" x 11" when closed.

Now available in my etsy shop.

"Mint Shasta" Showcase

Another delayed posting here, but I am thrilled to say that I have returned to Tiny Showcase for the fourth summer in a row. This limited edition is of one of my new pieces from the show at Nahcotta, titled "Mint Shasta". The original painting is sold, but (as of last count) there were 37 prints left out of the edition of 200. Once they are gone though, they are gone for good. You can snag one of the last ones here.

The original is based on on a photo by Don Stucke.

Annual Solo Exhibition at Nahcotta

I apologize for the delayed announcement here, but I was so focused on making the work over the past several months, I fell behind on promoting the work. If you find yourself in Portsmouth, NH this month, check out my show of 19 new paintings at Nahcotta on Congress St. It is up through July 31 and if you're unable to see it in person, you can view the work online here: http://www.nahcotta.com. I've also added few of the new images as print editions in my etsy shop: http://www.etsy.com/shop/leahgiberson

My print, "Three Seater", as seen in Martha Stewart Living September 2010 issue (table of contents and p.86). Thanks so much to Lad from Poster Cabaret and Sebastian Foster for facilitating this and to Victoria from sfgirlbybay for allowing me to use her photo for the painting.

Off we go!

Tiny Showcase has released a limited edition print of mine, called, "Land Yacht (Three)".

After months and months of painting

So this might explain why I haven't posted much over the past six months, or why I've fallen behind on emails and laundry. After months and months of painting, I'm getting very close to finishing work for two upcoming shows that both open in July. Still have to make final decisions about which pieces will go to the show in NH and which will go to San Francisco and which unfinished pieces to finish in the coming days.Pieces I'm thinking of for my show at Rare Device in San Francisco.

Pieces I'm thinking of for my show at Nahcotta in Portsmouth, NH.
